This isn’t the first time where my rage wants to take over. 
This isn’t the first time where I’ve fought for my and others rights

You see, I was raised by Macheteros and Young Lords, resistance runs in the blood in my veins.

But this is the first time where Im actively trying to heal the traumas of my ancestors, healing the generational damage to my nervous system. And I can affirm… this is some crazy work.

And if you’re currently struggling with the same… congratulations. Your humanity is still intact. Your morals are still aligned. You’re the hope our world needs. 

Take a breath, rest.

But don’t stop fighting.
