We are kicking off the Spring 2026 semester with our first #MoodySpotlight of the year with utexasrtf junior Dina Zeid! She is also minoring in arts management and administration. 

Dina chose #TEXASMoody because of the strong community and the college’s unmatched support. “I love how everyone wants to lift those around them!” Dina is studying utexasrtf because it provides the opportunity to explore many areas of film and broadcast. 

She’s met so many people and made countless meaningful professional and personal connections at Moody College. Dina has worked as a COM 301E mentor for three full semesters, mentoring first- and transfer-year students. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being able to be one of the first connections new students to Moody make. I love being able to advise students and help them with situations I used to be in.” 

Dina is currently working as a SXSW music festival advancement intern. She’s learned a lot about how the music industry works and she’s helping to book musicians for the festival. Dina is also the photo director for KVRX 91.7 FM, where she’s been involved since her first year. “I host my own radio show, “A Cool Girl’s Guide to Music,” on Mondays at 10 PM. I also teach photo workshops throughout the semester that are open to any UT students!” 

The CMA plaza is her go-to study spot. She loves the lawn chairs and running into her friends. “Moody College has been the best thing to happen to me!”
