## Caption

Wanted to share some of the Parabeast novel concept art, it’s super exciting to not only see these come to life but also be able to share them with you guys.

Introductions to each Parabeast (in order of appearance):

Calyptera Drake: A thirty-foot high parabeast with a dragon-like appearance. Its sleek body is wrapped with golden veins over midnight blue skin and large steam vents cover its body releasing hot glowing golden steam that it uses to propel itself and amplify its destructive capabilities. (I referred to this parabeast as “Speed Dragon” for the longest time as a nickname before I came up with the official name)

Crown Gorus: A massive parabeast with giant forelegs and craggy, rock-plated vambraces. Its wide head is a half mouth, with rows of teeth and a long black tongue.

Hyophage: “Horrifically humanoid” parabeasts, lanky with stretched two-toed feet, long arms with spidery claw fingered hands and bright eyes sunk into dark sockets. Its false face parts down the middle to reveal a red, fleshy head with only a mouth within.

Harpies: Pelican-sized parabeast with silver talons and a long, bent scarlet beak.

Lagomorphs: A mammal-like parabeast with no discernible eyes in a stout head covered with a dense layer of fur that has the texture of bone.

Muscapod: A slug-like parabeast with a flattened football shaped black head adorned with narrow almond eyes and burning red pupils and a line of needle-thin teeth in an over-stretched
mouth.

Alpha Hyophage: Ranked higher than hyophages, it has two extra arms sprouting from its back that end in sharp spikes for hands. Behind its false face is a much more sinister animalistic face.
