Jet skis aren’t toys, and unsafe riding puts everyone at risk.

This summer, we’ve seen dangerous jet ski behaviour including riding too close to shore, speeding in restricted zones near swimmers, and operating without the correct licence or supervision.
 
Having a boat license does not mean you can ride a jet ski.

To operate personal watercraft, you need the correct endorsement, plus the required safety equipment:
▪️a torch
▪️a Type 3 life jacket
▪️your marine licence.
 
This isn’t about ruining fun - it’s about keeping swimmers, riders and families safe.
