The halls at Fresno City College were packed Tuesday, all for a man many recognize instantly from the big screen.

Actor Danny Trejo, known for iconic roles in Desperado, Heat, Con Air, Blood In Blood Out, and From Dusk Till Dawn, was in Fresno as part of the Fresno City College Speakers Forum, where he shared laughs, life lessons, and his powerful story of redemption.

Students cheered as Trejo took the stage.

“If you have a prison background, ‘you be my friend’ is a red flag,” Trejo joked, getting ton's of laughter from the audience.

But Trejo’s message went beyond movie stories.
