“To #BeABluejay means to be inspired to become the best version of yourself by being open to the daily opportunities around campus.” For senior finance student Creighton Sharp, that mindset has shaped his entire Creighton experience.

“I chose Creighton because of its small class and campus size while still having big time facilities and resources,” he says. What he didn’t expect was how much he’d grow by trying new things and letting the community guide his path.

That openness has led him everywhere from Campus Ministry to the women’s basketball practice team to leadership in Phi Delta Theta and New Student Orientation. And it’s shaping where he’s headed next—into a financial planning career. 

“Prospective students should know how many great opportunities Creighton has for students who are curious and open to trying new things,” he shares. “Having an open mind and trusting the process has helped me get the most out of my time here.”
