i can't believe mac miller and thundercat appeared on this too...

from 2018 to 2020, mac demarco live streamed 35 episodes on a secret youtube channel called camtony

even to this day it only has less than 15,000 subscribers, but during its run, demarco would stream himself just playing in his studio

some episodes featured special guests like episode 26 with mac miller and thundercat, whereas others brought moments like demarco covering haruomi hosono's song honey moon — which may have led to the pair working together on boku wa chotto in 2024

this is without a doubt one of the most interesting side projects i've seen that still doesn't get enough credit, but let me know below if you were already hip to this / if you have a favorite episode 🤝
