Let's talk about Melody MacDuffee's non-profit organization- Soul of Somanya! This organization is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. But the real action takes place in a town called Somanya in the Krobo region of Ghana, West Africa, where jobs can be scarce especially for young adults. Soul of Somanya is working hard to provide living-wage employment for the residents; teaching them how to handcraft accessories and jewelry. So while Melody is here she will also be hosting her Soul of Somanya trunk show! When you buy her trunk show products, you provide a market for the goods that these talented young people create! This, in turn, allows Soul of Somanya to keep them working at a steady living wage 🤗
