Let’s talk about ball movement.

Coach Kelly breaks down a common mistake in youth basketball, not moving the ball enough to create space. Great offense is not about forcing an attack. It is about creating an advantage first.

Ball movement shifts the defense, opens gaps, and knocks down the first domino. Once that advantage is created, that is when you put the ball in your best player’s hands to finish strong. Most of your offense, 80 to 90 percent, should be built on creating that advantage before attacking.

When the ball moves, the game gets easier. Decisions get clearer. Scoring opportunities multiply.

This is how smart basketball is taught.
This is how players learn to read the game.
