It wouldn’t be right to talk about my journey with regulating my nervous system and not talk about how often I have to regulate before I crash out. I had to learn that regulating was essential because my body keeps score and if I stuff it, it will come out. Usually at the wrong time. If it comes out after being bottled up so long, the outcomes are never good. Like… ever. 

You would think that once you set your boundaries, identify your core values, and choose to trust God, things would be simpler. After all, that’s what all the cutesy feel good, holier than thou posts say.

Well, welcome to my world of imperfection meets evolution. Where we still have to regulate our nervous system in real time and create systems that help us when we are overstimulated. We trust God and we also still deal with a little bit of anxiety.

Today’s video shows how I handled regulating myself in real time.  As in, I was disregulated and for some reason I felt led to film it and share it with you lol
