#TSRUpdatez: #SeanGrayson, the former Illinois Sheriff Deputy responsible for the murder of #SonyaMassey, has been sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

According to apnews, Grayson, who was convicted last October, apologized during the sentencing. He said, “I made a lot of mistakes that night. There were points when I should’ve acted, and I didn’t. I froze. I made terrible decisions that night. I’m sorry.”

As previously reported, Grayson was charged with three counts of first-degree murder. However, a jury convicted him of the lesser charge, second-degree murder.
