One year ago today, the Essex Rebels, the University of Essex, and our community were changed forever by the loss of DJ, TJ, Eva, and Makyle.

Today, we pause to remember four much-loved members of our family whose energy, kindness, and passion left an enduring mark on all who knew them.

Though they are no longer with us, their presence is still felt in our arena, across our campus, and in the memories we continue to share. Their impact lives on in the people they inspired and the community they helped shape.

Today, we remember who they were, the joy they brought to others, and the legacy they leave behind.
