In 2024 according to US customs and border protection, there were 24 cases of manslaughter/homicide committed by “illegal immigrants“. 

In 2024 the American Journal of Public Health estimated that 35,327 to 44,789 Americans died due to lack of healthcare. 

So to be clear, the Trump policy is that it makes more sense to spend $88 billion on potentially saving 24 lives than it does to save tens of thousands by using that money to provide universal healthcare. 

And let’s not forget that we are already in a severe worker shortage, which will be exponentially exacerbated by mass deportation.
