Everything I am and will be, comes from this incredible woman , whose single minded determination and courage raised 5 children in Oregun , Yorubaland . She is the Dancer I have in my spirit, the Poet I hear in my heart and the Linguist, whose ear I have received.
Her family from Oyo were OmoEgungun. Keepers of Ancestral knowledge, through sound, movement and deep family love.
Mama, I honour you and all Women, not just today, but , with each moment of my being.
