When temps spike and rain disappears, your plants feel it too. Here’s how to help them ride out the heat:⁠

• Add mulch to lock in moisture and keep roots cool⁠
• Water early or late (young plants need it most)⁠
• Move pots to shade—some may need water twice a day⁠
• Skip the fertilizer and pruning—heat-stressed plants can’t handle it⁠
• Postpone planting or transplanting until it cools off⁠
• Hold off on insecticidal soaps and other treatments⁠
