Yes, it really smells like chocolate. This sun-loving, Southwest-native perennial pumps out yellow daisy-like blooms with a cocoa scent so rich it’s like walking through a candy aisle at sunrise.⁠

🌼 Blooms open at night and shine in the morning—perfect for early risers and pollinators.⁠
🌱 Grows to 2 feet tall, thrives in lean, dry soils, and asks very little in return.⁠
🦋 A magnet for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds—and curious garden visitors.⁠

These tap-rooted plants are easy to grow from seed.⁠

Pro tip: Line a path or rock garden with it to catch a whiff as you pass. Let it go to seed for bonus bird food.⁠
