🌱 Garden Tip of the Week
Hold the mulch (for now!)

We know, it’s so tempting to mulch right after a good spring cleanup—but trust us, a little patience goes a long way. Laying mulch too early can keep your soil too cool and block those glorious spring rains from reaching the roots where they’re needed most.

✨ In your perennial beds, wait until you see visible new growth. Then mulch, but leave a 6" buffer around emerging plants.
🥕 In the veggie patch, let the soil breathe and dry out first—it’ll warm up faster and be easier to work with when you’re ready to plant.

Basically: clean up, sip something warm, and let the earth do its thing for a few weeks. You—and your plants—will be glad you did.
