The biggest obstacle I'm facing right now is creating consistent invoices and tracking them - so I would suggest you pick a platform and sign up on it asap, that way as soon as you get your first deal you're set up to receive payment seamlessly. (There are various programs, the ones I'm looking into are Stripe and Dubsado, but I have yet to sign up for either). Setting up your business can also mean purchasing a domain, setting up an email and thinking about branding! Create High-Quality Content & Build Your Online Presence: Focus on producing engaging and high-quality content that resonates with your target audience. Find and hone in on your style and use it to create brand awareness for yourself and attract those brand collaborations and partnerships. If you don't have past work to use, create content with household items or something you feel passionately about. Consistently share your content, interact with your audience and the brands you want to collab with! Just Start: Whether it's creating a Fiver Seller page, Pinterest Board, transitioning an active Instagram/TikTok account or starting a new one, making a Canva portfolio - whatever it is, JUST START. I can tell you I've tried and not followed through on most of these avenues (& more) and most likely you will too, until you find the platform and strategy that's right for you - but you'll never find it if you don’t start. So here's your permission and motivation... Remember that building a monetized UGC creator career takes time and effort.
