Until one day I was sitting in a windowless cubicle with the walls closing in and I realized: no one was coming. No surprise trip. No secret inheritance. No fairy godmother. No "right time." So I stopped waiting. Did I have it all figured out? I wish 😅 But I decided this was the only life I was willing to bet on. When I stopped treating my dreams like "someday" fantasies they started showing up 60 countries, tons of solo trips, a NYC apartment, and many more miracles later, I don't believe in next lives anymore.
