Today we are excited to showcase Lindsey Stugard, @lindseystugard, #HDFS major in SoHE for #NationalInternDay!🎉 Lindsey is a childcare🧒 teacher at Little Lambs Academy, where she works with young children in all areas of growth (physical, social, emotional), and loves❤️ that she can provide individualized attention to all children. 

Lindsey obtained her internship because she had prior experience at Little Lamb Academy. She worked out a plan with her career advisor and the organization that benefited both parties. Lindsey mentions that, "It was so easy to reach out to my boss and simply ask⁉️ if there was an internship position open at my place of work, so if you are already working at a place that meets your interests and values, reach out to your own boss to see if there is an opportunity or position open for you!"

"I also suggest that you meet with your career advisor to have a conversation💬 about your plans before trying to carry them out. Your career advisor is there to support👋 you, help you, and guide you through this journey. You do not have to do this alone, nor should you!"
