Our chapter of the week is Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. Swipe to learn more about this ugamgcouncil chapter.

They are the only Latino-based fraternity chartered at all eight Ivy League institutions. LUL’s members are heavily involved on campus and around Athens, whether that be through academic fraternities or community partnerships like Keep Athens-Clarke Country Beautiful and U-Lead Athens.

Their philanthropy is Providing Access to Higher Education (PATHE), which aims to support middle school and high school students in their pursuit to graduate from college. They contribute to local schools and organizations through mentoring, tutoring and advocacy. This semester, they will be hosting a fall fundraiser event and their annual Conchas y Hot Chocolate event in support of PATHE.

The Beta Tau chapter crossed their largest line in history this past spring.
