As  a Vice President of LPFF I am deeply concerned by the recent Government proposal to remove Sport England as a statutory consultee on planning applications affecting playing fields. This decision could have devastating consequences for our communities who depend on these vital spaces to maintain their long-term physical, mental and social health.
