The 2026 Empire State Winter Games will kick off with an unforgettable Opening Ceremony on 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟓 𝐚𝐭 𝟕𝐏𝐌, celebrating this year’s theme, “𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭.” 

Hosted by acclaimed broadcaster Tom Messner, the evening will feature a headline performance by the Turbo Twins!

To ensure an exciting, fun, and smooth Opening Ceremony, we ask the following of all athletes:⁣
⁣
❄ Please arrive between 6:15pm - 6:45pm at the Athletes Entrance on Cummings Rd⁣
❄ Once inside the Athletes Entrance, please proceed to the USA Rink⁣
❄ Once within the USA Rink, find your respective sport icon (*𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲)⁣
❄ Mingle with friends old and new, celebrate, and await further line-up instruction from our Athlete Coordinators ⁣

Athletes marching will be able to leave coats within the USA Rink to be picked up once the Opening Ceremony has concluded. We ask that you DO NOT bring backpacks, food, or anything besides your coats.

This year, the parade of athletes will cross the ice and proceed into the stands.
