Spend a day working from home & momming with me. 👩🏽‍💻

After my 5-9, I fit in some self-care, more reading, red light therapy, skincare, and something to eat before settling into work: corresponding with my paralegal and handling emails before moving into an initial client consultation.

From there, the day was a mix of meetings, smaller tasks, family obligations, and transitions. I picked up Summer from school, met with my managers, and had set aside time to film for a partnership. When the concept wasn’t approved in time for the slot I had planned, I shifted gears and focused on other work instead bc there’s ALWAYS something to do lol.

Later in the afternoon, I met with a former client who came back to update their documents, which is always a reminder of the value of doing great work for people and long-term relationships. I “closed up shop” a little earlier than usual to take Cooper to visit a school I’m considering for him. He loved it, and that felt like the right note to end the day on.

This is what typical wfh day looks like for me—structured, flexible, and centered around the people dr.marvinksmith and I are building all of this for.
