The #AlkemyVFX team was instrumental in creating a critical sequence in episode 7! *Spoilers ahead* 💥

In this scene, as Imogene works to uncover her own memories, we see an important flashback with an incredible explosion. Our VFX team split principal photography into layers, then composited a volumetric CG render of an explosion, using Deep data to layer fire/smoke/debris/burning oil/refracting glass in front of, inside, and behind live action footage of Imogene and her mother in the car. These effects perfectly framed the horror of Imogene confronting the dark secrets she has buried.
