Why do we call this technique Esthetic Buccal Massage?
Because it is very different from a standard buccal massage. In this method, the intra-oral work is done exclusively for esthetic purposes, with a technique that is gentle, precise, and protective of the tissues.

Although we work inside the mouth, the touch is very light. The glove is fully saturated with oil to avoid irritating the mucous membrane, and we always warm and prepare the tissues before any deeper work.

When approaching the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), we warm, vibrate, and gently pulsate first. This softens the joint so it does not contract.

Two principles make Esthetic Buccal Massage unique:
	1.	Never use strong pressure.
Heavy pressure creates contraction, which can lead to inflammation and fibrosis—exactly what we avoid in facial work.
	2.	Never stretch the mouth.
Stretching can create unwanted creases and overwork the tissues, ligaments, and muscles.

Because of these principles, Esthetic Buccal Massage is not painful, not strenuous, and not aggressive. It never overstretches or overprocesses any structure.

Clients with TMJ tension or bruxism may feel relief not because we are treating a medical condition, but because releasing contraction points is necessary for achieving an esthetic lift. As the area warms and circulation improves, tension naturally decreases.
I use clean, organic grapeseed oil. It is suitable for all skin types, non-comedogenic, neutral in taste and smell, and safe for the oral cavity.
When it’s done correctly:
You feel light, comfortable, and pain-free during and after the massage.

When it’s done incorrectly:
It hurts, feels uncomfortable, or creates strain. Esthetic Buccal Massage should never cause pain or symptoms afterward.

When performed properly, the face shows ease, softness, and lift at the end of the treatment that is how you know it was done correctly.
