The most important thing during lymphatic drainage is to manage your own breath:
	•	Breathe deeply and slowly.
	•	Your breath sets the rhythm of your hands.
	•	Lymph vessels move slowly and rhythmically — your hands should mirror that.
	•	Calm breathing helps you align with the client’s body, encouraging healthy drainage in a non-abrasive and effective way.

⸻🚫 The biggest mistakes during lymphatic drainage are:
	•	Working too fast
	•	Using too much pressure
	•	Wearing tight or constrictive clothing that limits diaphragmatic expansion for practitioner •	.Not breathing deeply as a practitioner
	•	Skipping lymphatic drainage or placing it after other phases of the facial
	•	Failing to work from the “bottom floors” to the top (i.e., from the chest upward)

These prevent you from truly helping the lymphatic fluid move and can disrupt the rhythm of the treatment.

✅ Instead, always focus on slow, rhythmic, gentle touch that mirrors the natural pace of the lymphatic vessels.
Make sure you can breathe deeply, expanding through the diaphragm, and always begin with lymphatic drainage as the foundational first step — working upward, floor by floor.
