On February 4, 2007, the world learned why you never kick to #23 In Super Bowl XLI, Devin Hester became the first—and still the only—player to return the opening kickoff for a touchdown.

The 92-yard sprint took only 14 seconds and sent a shockwave through the league. It capped off a rookie season where Hester proved to be a "glitch" in the matrix, recording 6 total return touchdowns (including a record-tying 108-yard missed field goal return). To this day, it remains the most iconic special teams play in NFL history.
