Halle is stepping into her "second act." 👏🔥

At 59 and approaching 60 this August, the actor told The Cut she’s refusing to fade quietly, explaining how women at this stage of life can feel sidelined at work and by society. 

 "You get to this age where you feel like you’re being marginalized, devalued. You feel it at work. You feel it from society,” Berry says. “But I have adamantly decided I am not going to allow myself to be erased. That’s why I’m on my menopause mission. I’m going to be louder than I have ever been.”

Berry also shared that her team initially worried her openness about aging and menopause could hurt her career. Her response was unflinching. “But as a Black woman, it’s always been an uphill battle, right? I had no fear. Bring. It. On.”

That same resolve carries into her work with Respin, the platform she launched to focus on menopause, longevity, and women’s health. "I’m almost 60. Fighting for women’s health feels like a formidable cause for my second act." 👏  We love to see it!
