On this #WildlifeWednesday, we’re featuring bobcats! 🐱

Bobcats don’t hibernate in the winter, their high metabolism and thick fur help keep them warm. To escape the cold, they seek out caves, dens, and covered rock crevices. Sometimes, they may even bury themselves in the snow!

Bobcats are sneaky hunters. They rely on their sharp sense of hearing and silent gait to locate and ambush prey. A bobcat’s back paws step exactly where its front paws land, helping it move quietly over various terrains. 🐾
