Human Ecology students joined forces in the first-ever Design Dash. The challenge? To help the school and @wisalumni (WFAA) brainstorm innovative ideas to improve #DayoftheBadger engagement.

The teams consisted of eight students, ranging from freshmen to seniors in the Consumer Behavior & Marketplace Studies (CBMS), Community & Organizational Development (COD) and Human Development & Family Studies (HDFS) programs: Benjamin Wiest x'25, Wasuk Kose x'28 (@wasukkose), Mariana Ray-Hernández x'25 (@marixhrndz14), Kyle Alami x'25 (@kylejayalami), Avianna Meder x'27 (@avianna_meder), Jade Laatsch x'25 (@jade.laatsch), Holly Shulman x'25 (@hollyshulmann) and Natalie Hoege x'25 (@nataliehoege).

Leveraging design thinking methods, students delivered clear and compelling cases to the WFAA team. Afterward, students buzzed with excitement, expressing gratitude for the collaborative opportunity and eagerness for future Design Dashes.

This event was made possible by interdisciplinary partnerships with the School of Human Ecology Career Services and Advancement & Communications teams, the Office of Strategic Partnerships, The Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies (@the_commns) and COD teaching faculty.
