Our Murals with Meaning installation transforms River City Science Academy Elementary's playground into a vibrant space where wellness takes center stage!

Created by artist Art by Mary Joan Hinson in collaboration with the Overdose Data to Action program and City of Jacksonville, this colorful playground mural promotes both physical and mental health literacy for young learners.

This installation helps destigmatize mental health conversations while creating an environment where kids can simply be kids. Starting these important discussions early helps build a foundation for lifelong mental wellness.

Art has the power to start meaningful conversations at every age, and playgrounds are perfect places for those conversations to begin naturally.
