Our Murals with Meaning installation at River City Science Academy Elementary transforms the playground into a vibrant space where healthy bodies and minds flourish together!

Created by artist Mary Joan Hinson in collaboration with the Florida Department of Health (DOH)'s Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program and the City of Jacksonville, Florida - Government, this colorful playground mural promotes both physical and mental wellness for young learners.

This installation helps destigmatize mental health while promoting mental health literacy in the community - all while creating a bright, healthy environment where kids can simply be kids.

Art has the power to start important conversations at every age, and we're proud to bring mental health awareness directly into spaces where children learn and play every day.
