## Caption

One of the things we like best about European Street Cafe is the sense of community. Our employees aren’t just servers or sandwich makers, cashiers or slicers: They are family. We don’t have customers: We have guests—many of whom become friends. Couples have gotten engaged in our restaurants. They’ve enjoyed birthdays, retirements and anniversaries. We even have friends and families toast their loved ones in celebrations of life.

Still, we have been overwhelmed with support, well wishes and offers of assistance to help us rebuild our San Marco location which experienced significant water damage from the hurricane. Because of that, we want to give back to folks in the community who do good for others. Whether it’s volunteering for local events, helping others in need, raising funds and awareness for area non-profits or anything that supports individuals and our community in general, we want to recognize the kindness and generosity of others.

#ESTrong is a weekly campaign that will show appreciation to these do-gooders. In addition to featuring them on our social media accounts, we will present them with a voucher for $50 to enjoy a meal at any of our restaurants (obviously, there will be a bit of a wait to use it at San Marco)—which they can share with whoever nominated them.

To nominate someone who personifies the #ESTrong mentality, email kerry@europeanstreet.com with the name(s), what they have done for the community and why they deserve to be recognized. Please include their contact information if available. We will name a winner each Friday.

Thank you again for all of your support as we continue to stay #ESTrong.
