Cookin' with Fire was the hot topic yesterday as we kicked off the new Barbeque Boot Camp education feature coming to the Fifth Third Bank Michigan State Fair in September, with our great pals from Detroit Public TV show Under the Radar Michigan at historic Sokol Camp in South Lyon! We enjoyed delicious eats provided by Chef Ron Philipp of #RonsRoadsideBBQ of Ann Arbor, Chef Renee Chodkowski, aka #TheGreatFoodini of Howell, Retired Detroit Firefighter Scott Legas of #ShuckandLadderCornRoasters,fresh greens from the #OaklandAveUrbanGardens of Detroit, and the grand finale, official State Fair Ice Cream, Tilt-A-Swirl, from #GuernseyFarmsDairy of Novi....whooowee! No need for breakfast, we are still full this morning!
