In honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, we’re throwing it back to when the legendary Maybelle Blair threw out the first pitch at Dedeaux!

Maybelle was a pioneer in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League that inspired the movie “A League of their Own” and has been a longtime ambassador for and supporter of women’s professional baseball, including serving on the advisory board for the Women’s Pro Baseball League (wpbl_official).
