At STSC 2026, our side event explored what responsible GeoAI should look like in practice, so all countries can benefit.
 
AI is already boosting impact: from on-board processing that prioritizes the most useful data, to geospatial foundation models (if they’re tested, explainable and responsibly managed.)
 
Our policy brief, “Ensuring Responsible AI in Space and Earth Observation,” sets out 5 practical objectives:
