## Caption

I kicked off The Drew Petersen Podcast with this angelcollinson conversation very intentionally. We filmed this episode all the way back in February of 2024. It was one of Angel’s first times back on skis after she surprised everyone in the sport of skiing by retiring in 2021. Obviously, she still ripped, but more than anything, she had a genuine aura about her. She’s always been someone infectious to be around, but it was just obvious, to me at least, that she is living deeply aligned with her true self. To those who have ever crossed paths with her, that’s no surprise.

I chose to start the podcast with this episode also because it illustrates that this podcast is a concept that I’ve been noodling on for several years. When I recorded this with Angel, I did so because I knew it was an opportunity to capture this moment in time. Simultaneously, in that time in my professional life, I had all my eggs in the basket of finishing #FeelItAllFilm. I didn’t know when I’d actually have the bandwidth to make this podcast something in the real world. But I did it anyway, because I knew one day I would bring it to fruition. It’s true to the reason I’m starting this whole thing: real, genuine conversation and connection with great humans.
