RALLY BIRD: A surprise visit from a small bird during the Islanders–Penguins game created one of the season’s most memorable moments. 

The bird darted across the ice during a play Bo Horvat helped set up, and a mic’d-up Horvat could be heard telling teammates about the unexpected guest as fans watched it flutter around. After the game, staff safely guided the bird outside, and it left with a new nickname: “Rally Bird.”
