President Donald Trump will officially launch TrumpRX on Thursday evening, unveiling the new website offering prescription drugs direct-to-consumer for lower costs.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the announcement set for 7 p.m. EST, describing TrumpRX.gov as a "state-of-the-art website for American consumers to purchase low-cost prescription drugs."

"This historic announcement will save millions of Americans money," Leavitt said.

Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Dr. Mehmet Oz and National Design Studio Director Joe Gebbia will join Trump for the announcement.

The administration announced plans to launch TrumpRx in September to offer Americans the chance to purchase drugs at Most Favored Nation (MFN) pricing. The website is expected to facilitate Americans' purchase of prescription medication from administration-approved companies.
