We have magical news! 🪄 The 19th North Atlantic right whale calf of the season is swimming off the coast of Florida! ✨ "Magic" (right whale catalog #1243) and her new calf were sighted by CMA Research Institute’s aerial survey team on January 16, 2026, east of Amelia Island, FL. Magic is 44 years old, and this is her 8th known calf!
