What prompted you to apply for fellowship?

Encouragement from my peers to attain the highest form of fellowship at the college. For me it was a natural progression from trainee to member to Fellow. I believe that should be the progression for all GPs. We work hard at our jobs so why not achieve the highest level of membership?

What does fellowship mean to you?

Recognition from my peers that I am good enough to be awarded the highest level of membership. It is like an acknowledgement of all the hard work.

What advice would you give to someone who is considering becoming a Fellow?

Please go for it. Why would you not aspire to get the highest level of membership?

What is the best thing about being a Fellow?

The recognition you receive and of course the freebies too. It is wonderful to see the conference subsidised for Fellows. #FRCGP #TeamGP
