Long Island will once again brace for dangerously cold conditions as the National Weather Service predicts wind chill values between minus 5 and minus 15 accompanied by 1 to 2 inches of snow.

The service extended its extreme cold warning for Long Island and NYC in a statement, now in effect from 1 p.m. Saturday until 1 p.m. Sunday.
