I lost a pure soul, I cannot rest…
My heart pains, my mind remembers…
The wonderful Septembers and your birthdays. 

Lamonte McLemore, my dearest friend has passed way. 

As the founder of the iconic music group THE FIFTH DIMENSION who brought soul and music to the entire world in a time when we as a people were not seen. The Fifth Dimension broke barriers and created a new genre that all of the music and TV world still benefits from today. 

I first met the group when I was only 18 and they took me in as family. Florence LaRue, Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis Jr., Lamonte, and Ron Townson. Not only was he a musical sensation, he was a brilliant photographer. As two have passed away, it was my dear friends Billy Davis and Marilyn McCoo Davis who called me with the sad news. 

Lamonte— I love you, I will miss you forever! Rest in Power my friend… till we meet again.
