Today, we begin to recognize and congratulate our Hall of Honor Class of 2026 honorees in the Athletics Category.

Kathleen Doyle '16, graduated as Benet’s all-time leader in assists and steals and second all time for points.. She led the Redwings to back-to-back IHSA Class 4A State Championships. Kathleen was three years All-Conference and ESCC Player of the Year as a senior. Additionally, she was named first team All-State and was named Ms. Basketball for the state of Illinois. At the University of Iowa, she was four-time All-Big Ten and named Big Ten Player of the Year as a senior. Kathleen was drafted by the Indiana Fever, and her Benet jersey was retired in 2023.

Frank Kaminsky III '11, earned first team All-State honors from the Chicago Sun-Times and IBCA and second team recognition from the AP as a senior at Benet, along with All-Area, All-Conference, and ESCC Player of the Year honors. At Wisconsin - Madison, he set a single game scoring record and was the unanimous National Player of the Year in 2015. Frank was drafted ninth overall by the Charlotte Hornets and had his Benet jersey retired in 2017.

Dan LeFevour '05, was the varsity quarterback for three years, set Benet’s touchdown record with 54 and was All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-State. He starred at Central Michigan as a quarterback. For some time, Dan held the record for most touchdowns scored in the history of the NCAA. He was selected in the NFL draft by the Chicago Bears. His jersey was retired by Benet in 2011.
