Today we celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) — a powerful reminder of what’s possible when girls and women are given space, support, and opportunity to compete, lead, and thrive 💪🏽🏆

Founded in 1987 in honor of Olympic volleyball player Flo Hyman, NGWSD recognizes the achievements of female athletes and continues the push for equity and access in sports.
