1. “They earned it.” Often built on underpaid labour, weakened worker protections, aggressive tax avoidance and environmental harm pushed onto communities. No one EARNS a billion.⁣

2. “They’ll leave if taxed.” They don’t. Most extreme wealth is tied to assets, markets and infrastructure, and countries with fair wealth taxes still host large numbers of millionaires and billionaires.⁣
