LIONS HEADED BACK TO OPEN DIVISION PLAYOFFS: The jserra.boyssoccer team will officially head to the pitch to defend its’ CIF Southern Section Open Division crown.

The CIF-SS released its’ 2026 Boys Soccer playoff brackets on Saturday and the Lions were selected into the eight team Open Division bracket.

JSerra completed the regular season with an overall record of 7-4-3 (finishing second in the Trinity League) and earned the sixth seed in the Open Division.

JSerra will open with a home & away battle with the third-seeded Redondo Union Sea Hawks. 

The Lions will host the Sea Hawks in the first round on Wednesday, February 11th and then travel to Redondo Union for a second-round match on Friday, February 13th. 

The Sea Hawks finished the season 13-5-1 and placed second in the Bay League.
