It’s hard to believe the struggles that women nowadays still have to endure, but it’s such an inspiration knowing that your story as a Latina, who is resilient and powerful in all of her different forms is being told so beautifully in #realwomenhavecurves ! 

With a cast of only five characters Ana, Carmen, Pancha, Rosali & Estela; who through their own liberation and freedom of expression, whether it was creative, sexual, or simply taking back their power and voices in unison the impact created is so bold and fun! 

All of the topics touched such as immigration raids, freedom of bodily expression, the ability to stand up to your abuser, and being able to express yourself through different creative outlets, such as fashion and writing were so relevant to everything that is going on currently. 

Not to mention the relevancy of self-acceptance because of how much our culture likes to bully you based on what you look like or because sometimes machismo can take the form of a woman, really triggered a space in my heart and in my brain, but in a good way. 

To know that we can overcome, that we can be very successful women; who are moms, who are resilient and who are continuously fighting for what they believe in!
