Derek Carr didn't just play for the Raiders; he lived and breathed the Silver & Black. Drafted in the 2nd round in 2014, Carr stepped into a franchise in turmoil and became its most stable foundation. Over 142 games, he weathered relocation, coaching carousels, and heartbreak, eventually becoming the all-time franchise leader in passing yards (35,222) and touchdowns (217).

His 2016 season remains the "what if" of Raiders history. Carr was playing at an MVP level, leading the team to a 12–3 start before a devastating leg injury in Week 16 ended his season—and likely the Raiders' best shot at a Super Bowl in decades.
